- Today we are a network of 32 childrens villages
- Where 6,600 children are growing up
- We also reach out to 24,000 children through our
family strengthening program
5Program Interventions
- Within programs concrete responses are made
through three types of Interventions - Direct Essential Services - which are made
available to fulfil the childs survival,
development, protection and participation rights - Capacity building to support care givers,
families, communities and other duty bearers to
develop knowledge, skills, resources, systems and
structures to protect and care for children - Advocacy- actions aim to improve the overall
framework conditions for the children of our
target group by bringing about changes in
policies and programs that undermine their rights -

7Continuum of care beyond 18 yrs.
- After Care Program
- The After care program beyond 18 yrs. is an
integral part of our long term care program for
children entrusted in our care. We have a three
tier care and support program for our youth - The 1st stage (Arunodaya) 12 -18 yrs.
- The 2nd Stage (Sopan) 18 -22 yrs.
- The 3rd Stage (Ghronda)- 22-25 yrs.-three year

10Impact
- Pioneered the SOS care model in the country by
providing a nurturing environment to children
without families . - Through this programme more than 4,500 youth
have been settled till date . They are now
independent and self reliant in professions such
as medicine, journalism, aviation, army ,
teaching etc. - ( We have documented Success stories of our
settled children) - Currently more than 6,600 children growing up in
440 SOS families in 32 childrens Villages and
32 youth homes( after care programs) across the
country -
