1Follow these before and during the exam
- Leave belongings in the locker except your
laptop, power cord, network cable, and
pen/pencils. - Get your laptop ready
- Power cord is properly connected (see green light
on the brick) - Network access is present either hardwired or
wireless. Choose one. - Exit all the applications except your Internet
Explorer, including Instant Messaging (MSN, AIM,
Yahoo), web shots, post it notes, calendar, and
Google desktop applications. - Power-off electronic devices, cell phones/pdas
- To be marked present for exam, write your name on
scrap sheet and hand to instructor upon
completion of exam. - With new installation of QM secure browser and
JVM, the Save button will work. - Silence please

- How to exit application in Windows?
- Right click on the Windows Taskbar
- Choose Task Manager
- You will see a window similar to here
- Click on the Processes Tab
- Find the application/process
- Right click on the application/process
- Choose end process

4Follow these before and during the exam
- Logon to Blackboard and course for exam.
- Check the announcement.
- STOP HERE, - Do not logon to the exam until a
proctor prompts you to do so. - Click on the Assessments menu bar in the left
panel or the link provided in the announcement - Click OK when you see a popup window titled
Questionmark Secure - The exam will load shortly and the timing will
start. - In ALL cases, once you hit SUBMIT during any part
of the exam, YOU CANNOT GO BACK AND REVIEW OR
MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR ANSWERS
- Click on link when you are
instructed to do so.

- Upon completion of your exam, Click on submit
- after reading Judicial Policy page, Click
on submit .

7In ALL cases, DO NOT CLICK SUBMIT unless you want
your answers scored. IF YOU CLICK SUBMIT, YOU
CANNOT RETURN TO YOUR QUESTIONS.

have submitted your exam, click on the home image
button at the bottom of the screen or the X
button on the top left of the screen.

8Troubleshooting
- After you have clicked on the exam, if you see a
blank screen - power off, wait for couple of minutes and then
restart the computer. Log back on to Blackboard
and access your exam. - After you have clicked on the exam, if you see
access denied message - Close this window (click on the red X button
located on upper left corner). Click on the exam
again. - If you see script errors (by clicking on Save
button) that asks you if you want to continue
running scripts - Click on Yes to continue.
- And if this is followed by a question do you
want to submit your answers click on No (unless
you are ready to submit your complete exam) - If you see any type of debugging error message
- Click on No.
- Silence please
- Raise your hand if you have a problem
