Women are Valuable

• Everything was Not Good until God made woman
  Then and only then was everything Very Good.
• The Bible takes a great amount of space to talk
  about the godly women in the OT NT.
• We must encourage women (and girls) to serve God
  in every part of their lives.
• God seeks Virtuous Women
• Proverbs 3110 Who can find a virtuous wife? For
  her worth is far above rubies.

VIRTUOUS WOMEN HAVE

• Proverbs 3129 "Many daughters have done well,
  But you excel them all."

• FAITH
• She serves God with all her heart.
• She seeks His will for her life
• She follows His ways

VIRTUOUS WOMEN HAVE

• Proverbs 3111-12 11 The heart of her husband
  safely trusts her So he will have no lack of
  gain. 12 She does him good and not evil All the
  days of her life.
• Proverbs 3123 Her husband is known in the gates,
  When he sits among the elders of the land.

• MARRIAGE
• She respects her husband
• She does him good
• She is a trustworthy helpmeet

VIRTUOUS WOMEN HAVE

• Proverbs 3128-29 28 Her children rise up and
  call her blessed Her husband also, and he
  praises her 29 "Many daughters have done well,
  But you excel them all."

• MOTHERING
• She teaches her children the way of God
• She nurtures (feeds) them physically and
  spiritually
• She disciplines with love

VIRTUOUS WOMEN HAVE

• Proverbs 3114-15 14 She is like the merchant
  ships, She brings her food from afar. 15 She also
  rises while it is yet night, And provides food
  for her household, And a portion for her
  maidservants.

• HEALTH
• She care of her body and health
• She prepares healthy food for her family

• Proverbs 3120 She extends her hand to the poor,
  Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.

• SERVICE
• She serves her family and guests
• She has a loving, gentle spirit
• She is charitable

• Proverbs 3116 She considers a field and buys it
  From her profits she plants a vineyard.
• Proverbs 3118 She perceives that her merchandise
  is good, And her lamp does not go out by night.

• FINANCES
• She spends money wisely
• She is careful to purchase quality items
• She has good business sense

• Proverbs 3113 She seeks wool and flax, And
  willingly works with her hands.
• Proverbs 3124 She makes linen garments and sells
  them, And supplies sashes for the merchants.

• INDUSTRY
• She works with her hands
• She works willingly, without a grumble or
  complaint

• Proverbs 3131 Give her of the fruit of her
  hands, And let her own works praise her in the
  gates.

• HOMEMAKING
• She is a homemaker
• She creates a living environment for family and
  guests

VIRTUOUS WOMEN HAVE

• Proverbs 3127 She watches over the ways of her
  household, And does not eat the bread of
  idleness.
• Proverbs 3115 She also rises while it is yet
  night, And provides food for her household,

• TIME
• She uses her time wisely
• She does not wast time
• She is not lazy

VIRTUOUS WOMEN HAVE

• Proverbs 3121-22 21 She is not afraid of snow
  for her household, For all her household is
  clothed with scarlet. 22 She makes tapestry for
  herself Her clothing is fine linen and purple.

• BEAUTY
• She is a woman of inner and outer beauty
• She uses style, fashion and dress to demonstrate
  her faith and devotion to God

• GREAT VALUE
• 1 Peter 31-2 1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to
  your own husbands, that even if some do not obey
  the word, they, without a word, may be won by the
  conduct of their wives, 2 when they observe your
  chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

• GREAT VALUE
• 1 Peter 33-4 3 Do not let your adornment be
  merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold,
  or putting on fine apparel-- 4 rather let it be
  the hidden person of the heart, with the
  incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet
  spirit, which is very precious in the sight of
  God.
