Today Behavioural Objective

• Look at the dangers of the internet
• Learn how to keep yourself safe
• Look at mobile phone technology
• Find out what Cyberbullying is.
• Create a presentation about internet saftey for 2
  different audiences.

• Understand the ways in which we can combat cyber
  bullying.

completed task 1(4) Can give advice how to avoid

computers has a wider effect on society and will

Starter- Snowball

• On your own List all the methods people can
  cyber bully someone
• In Pairs Compare lists
• In 4s List in order which you think happen
  most often, 1 being most often.

• By text / picture message,
• Creating websites about people,
• Pretending to be someone else online,
• Calling people in chat rooms,
• Giving out other peoples information online,
• Posting information about people on forums (such
  as myspace),
• Blocking and calling people names through instant
  messengers (MSN, Yahoo etc).

Preventing cyber bullying

• Think before you act.
• When online
• When using technology (including your mobile
  phone)
• Do not pass on other peoples information.
• Do not misuse email facilities.
• If it does happen
• keep the evidence and tell someone ASAP!
