  • This two-day conference explores the phenomena
    that accompany the movement of individuals,
    peoples, ideas, practices, and goods across the
    borders and boundaries of Asia and beyond. The
    conference utilizes a cross-disciplinary approach
    to explore the processes and effects of
    transnationalism within contemporary and
    historical periods.
  • Last year fields represented included English,
    anthropology, linguistics, sociology, history,
    gender studies, and more
  • Participating schools included University of
    Toronto, Michigan, Waseda (Tokyo), Columbia,
    Harvard, Clark, U of San Francisco, and more.
