Generally all these legends do not have a
pleasant purpose.

The Janas were very little and very beautiful
fairies. They lived in rooms dug in the rocks
called DOMUS DE JANAS where they kept an immense
treasure.

It is a necropolis dug in the rock.

The surbile was a woman who sucked the blood
of newborn babies at night. To do this she
changed herself in a fly greased with a
particular plant ointment.

They were the spirits of women who died at
childbirth. At midnight they appeared along river
banks.
