8I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today?
I wonder what the two brothers wanted Jesus to
give them? What did they have to do if they
wanted to share in Christs glory?
What did Jesus want his disciples to understand?
9Jesus teaches that true greatness and real
achievement is in serving others. When our hearts
are full of love and humility, then anyone can be
a servant of Christ.
10- We pray for an end to injustice, persecution
- and poverty in our world today. Lord in your
- mercy.
- Lord hear our prayer (sung)
- We pray for peace and reconciliation
- between nations, races and religions. Lord
- in your mercy.
- Lord hear our prayer (sung)
- We pray for people who are sick and
- suffering. Lord in your mercy.
- Lord hear our prayer (sung)
11Knowing that our heavenly Father is listening,
in the silence of our hearts let us ask for help
with something that we are finding difficult.
12- We are going to listen to some quiet music. While
the music is playing, please could one person
from each class come and collect a gesture for
their focal point.
13Let us say this prayer together
Loving Father May our willingness to serve with
humility bring us closer to your love. Grant this
through Christ our Lord. Amen
