7Hebrews 415 For we do not have a high priest
who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses,
but we have one who has been tempted in every
way, just as we are yet was without sin.
8Hebrews 57 During the days of Jesus life on
earth, He offered up prayers and petitions with
loud cries and tears to the one who could save
Him from death and He was heard because of His
reverent submission.
9Hebrews 57 Yet while Christ was here on earth
he pleaded with God, praying with tears and agony
of soul to the only one who would save him from
premature death. And God heard his prayers
because of his strong desire to obey God at all
times. - Living Bible Translation
10Hebrews 58 He learned obedience from what He
suffered.
11The Peril of Dull Hearing
12What Is Needed to Produce Healthy Growth
1. Nourishing food the Word of God
2. Sufficient exercise walking the walk
3. Keen discernment Hebrews 514
13The teacher says you got the only perfect score
on the true or false test
Whats true is true and whats false is false.
14Understanding Teaching About Righteousness
1. Begin with truth you already know but have not
been obeying.
2. Review the promises of God for help to obey
His Word see 2 Timothy 27
3. Claim those promises for yourself
15Ephesians 414 then we will no longer be
infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and
blown here and there by every wind of teaching
and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their
deceitful scheming.
16Hebrews 61,2 Therefore let us leave the
elementary teachings about Christ and go on to
maturity, not laying again the foundation of
repentance from acts that lead to death, and of
faith in God, instructions about baptisms, the
laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead,
and eternal judgment.

18The Peril of Departing
19Hebrews 64-6 It is impossible for those who
have once been enlightened, who have tasted the
heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy
Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the Word
of God and the powers of the coming age, if they
fall away, to be brought back to repentance,
because to their loss they are crucifying the Son
of God all over again and subjecting Him to
public disgrace.
20John 639 And this is the will of Him who sent
me, that I shall lose none of all that He has
given me, but raise them up on the last day.
John 1027-29 My sheep listen to My voice I
know them, and they follow Me. I give them
eternal life, and they shall never perish no one
can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who
has given them to Me, is greater than all no one
can snatch them out of my Fathers hand.
21Correction does much, but encouragement does more.
Hebrews 610-11 God is not unjust he will not
forget your work and the love you have shown him
as you have helped his people and continue to
help them. We want each of you to show this same
diligence to the very end, in order to make your
hope sure.
22True faith by nature awakens hope

In hope against hope he believed
23Take Away From The Reading
To the weak - forsake your immaturity. Get on
solid food.
To the wicked - to trifle with Gods grace is to
offer the final insult to God. To reject Jesus
is the unpardonable sin.
To the wise - continue to grow.
24The man who once most wisely said, Be sure
youre right, then go ahead, Might as well have
added this, to wit Be sure youre wrong before
you quit.
