Very cooperative teachers and interesting
classes. Interacting with the other schools. It
is a very good way to bring electives into our
school. It allowed the students to take courses
they would not have had the opportunity to
take. It offered a greater variety of
educational opportunities and opportunities to
meet new people. It provided a chance for our
students to take poetry which is not offered at
our school. In addition, the students were
exposed to a Master Teacher who truly loves the
subject matter she teaches. I enjoyed the
teachers and the other students from different
schools. I think it is an excellent way for us
to interact with other schools. I enjoy the
diversity of classes that can be offered to the
students.

Class time is a bit short, especially since we do
not always have the same days off. Our system
was new this year so we had many minor technical
problems. Although the BOCES staff was very
helpful. One particular teacher seemed to
greatly favor the students at her school and the
other remote site. Our students always felt
second rate. Her students could chit-chat but
if one of our students asked another student a
question she was all over them. I had no problems
with any other instructors. Some students are
not held accountable at receiving
schools. Schools not having the same starting
times. There was no time to talk to the teacher
privately. Our students had to travel 4 hours
to the host site for lab work. My school did not
arrange for training before I was put into class.

very pleasant and helped greatly with any
problems. Very comfortable as well. They are
very nice and very understanding. They made you
feel like no question is stupid.

Provide all schools with DVD players to stay
up on technology. Have all schools come on at
the same time for the same course. I wish my
school had arranged training for me as the
aide. Better scheduling between schools.

This year I feel that there was one class that
didnt receive what they could have from the
instructor. It seemed as though the instructor
assumed that they knew a lot more than they
did. The host teacher was not able to explain
well or keep our students attention. I think
that you should review limits on the number of
students to ensure small class size. Twelve
students can be too many in these rooms.
