• The coyote lives in the desert.
• It is hot there.
• There is lots and lots of trees and cacti.
• There is lots of sand there.

• My animal is a mammal.
• It can look gray or brown. It eats rabbits,
  mice, and snakes.
• Its bigger than foxes.
• Its smaller than wolves.

How the Animal Uses the Habitat

• To live in
• From cacti
• Swim in areas of northeast u.s.
• Plants and animals

Protecting the Habitat

• Don't bother the coyotes
• Stop catching the coyote's prey
• Stop cutting down cacti so they can get water
