Trip Dates

• Students depart from Lockview High at
  approximately 100pm on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015
• Students return to Lockview High at approximately
  1000pm on Saturday, May 30th, 2015

Trip Overview

• Students travel as far as Edmunston, New
  Brunswick on Tuesday, May 26th and stay the night
  at the Best Western Plus
• On Wednesday morning, we travel to Quebec City,
  where we stay Wednesday-Friday night at Hotel
  TBD.
• Students depart from Quebec City the morning of
  Saturday, May 30th and return to school for pick
  up at approximately 1000pm

Trip Cost

• The final price of the trip will be approximately
  775 (may vary if activities change). Trip price
  includes
• 4 star centrally located hotels (4 students per
  room)
• Luxury coaches
• 1 tour director per bus. Guides participate in
  all events and activities and are available for
  emergencies 24 hours a day (guides stay with the
  school group in the hotel)
• All activities/admissions/fees on the itinerary
• Evening Security (1100pm to 600am each night of
  the trip)
• All breakfasts, I lunch and 3 suppers.

What students will need money for

• Students will need to have money to purchase
• Supper on the road on Tuesday (they can bring a
  packed lunch on the bus or purchase it),
• Lunch on Thursday and Friday,
• Lunch and supper on the road home on Saturday,
• Any souvenirs they wish to purchase.

Other Notes

• We currently have enough spots for 50 students. A
  commitment form must be signed and returned
  ASAP to determine participants. Initial deposits
  of 250.00 will be accepted beginning November
  19th. Cheques can be made payable to Lockview
  High. A second deposit (2500.00) will be due in
  February, with the balance due the beginning of
  April.

Other Notes

• Additional student meetings will take place
  closer to the trip date (room assignments, final
  itinerary, expectations), and consent and medical
  forms will be sent home in the Spring.
  Information will be communicated to parents via
  email and the trip website
• There is a one to ten teacher to student
  chaperone ratio. Chaperones will be school staff.
  Parents will have my contact information prior to
  the trip in the event of an emergency during the
  trip.

Note About Refunds

• All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. We send deposits
  directly to the tour provider (Bon Vivant
  Educational Tours), so funds are not kept in a
  school account. If your student is no longer able
  to participate, we will do our best to fill their
  spot on the trip with another student, at which
  point we can return any payments. If we are
  unable to fill that spot, a refund will not be
  possible.

  Buccis website (there will be a grade 9 trip
  tab). I will tweet reminders and any new
  information as well, using my teacher Twitter
  account (_at_MBucci1). All communication will be
  emailed home using the contact information
  provided on the commitment form.
