  • CAP member since 1976 CAWG till 1999
  • Have held various positions including SQ Cmdr,
    PAO, Gp ES, CAWG GO Special Projects
  • Extensive Ground SAR experience including MRA,
    NASAR CAP
  • Extensive ES experience including ARC, CA SMR,
    and employment

Operations ES Support

  • New service would be for formal traffic and

  • Members can subscribe to either or both

Some priorities from the ES side
  1. Tech specs to have the GPS's installed with an
    output plug to feed the data for APRS.
  2. At least 2 aircraft equipped with external
    antenna for APRS or SlowScan
  3. At least 2 aircraft equipped with APRS by the
    July Eval.
  4. A revamped SlowScan box for the Aircraft Ground
    unit that is portable and Bullet proof to broken
    wires etc.
  5. Airborne repeater (1 each)
