Suspension Bridge

• The Suspension Bridge was built to carry both
  highway and rapid transit traffic.
• The large stone towers were built by the use of
  coffer dames, which allowed the work men to build
  the towers under the water level with out getting
  wet, they still build bridges the same way today.
• The Suspension Bridge is similar to the Brooklyn
  Bridge in New York.

• The Suspension Bridge was open to vehicles on
  January 1,1867.
• The wires pull up the middle of the bridge the
  why its called the Suspension Bridge.

• The Suspension Bridge was open to passengers on
  December 1,1866.

• What I enjoy the most about Suspension Bridge is
  that it has a beautiful design.
• It is similar to the Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
