  roles in planning with the first three involved
  in travelling to Bochum for planning sessions.
• Lila has dealt with all administrative
  arrangements.
• Lila, Carol and Wendi went to Szolnok.
• David W, David O and Keith will be going to
  Bochum.
• Cosmas is involved this week and will be
  participating next year in exchange visits.

What is AVCE Science?
Safety at Leyton

• A vocational course which emphasises
  applications of science.
• Is equivalent to two A levels and has roughly
  equal amounts of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Assessment is by external exams (33) and
  coursework (67).
• Full details on handout (attached).
• There is also a handout on AVCE Science and
  Comenius.
