• Remove your machine from the box carefully
• Make sure the electric cables are not twisted

• Put your foot control pedal carefully into a
  comfortable position.
• Dont switch on the power until you are ready to
  sew.
• Adjust the machine to the correct settings
  before you begin.
• Check the bobbin has enough cotton and is in
  correctly.
• Never start to sew unless you have material
  under the presser foot.
• Never sew over a needle or pin.
• Dont allow some-one else to work the foot
  pedal.

• Never distract any-one whilst they are sewing.
• Keep your fingers away from the needle.
• Always do a test piece on a similar fabric first.
• Report a damaged or broken machine immediately.
• Tie back long hair .
• Switch the machine off when you have finished.
• Never fiddle with the settings unnecessarily.
• Report any accidents immediately.
