Aqaba Logistics Village ALV Scope

• The ADC granted concession is to develop, manage
  and operate the Aqaba Logistics Village "ALV".
• The ALV will be developed, managed and operated
  through a SPV named the Logistics Services
  Village Company "LSVC.
• The LSVC will operate the ALV based on the common
  use concept and a build, operate and transfer
  (BOT) basis.
• The Project will be developed on a 500,000 m2
  land throughout three development phases over 10
  years commencing 2007.
• The LSVC will develop in Phase 1 the
  infrastructure and boundaries for the phase, the
  1st container freight station "CFS" and a
  Distribution center DC and a service center on
  ALV North.

Aqaba Logistics Village ALV Scope

• Phase 2 will incorporate two new DCs with an
  area of 10,000 m2 each, the HQ of the company and
  the ALV Logistics Institute within the same
  building.
• Phase 3 will incorporate three DCs with an area
  of 10,000 m2, an additional CFS and developed
  plots of land for investors in related logistics
  services.
• The "CFSs" will handle, exclusively, all the LCL
  business coming to Jordan through the Aqaba
  Container Terminal.
• The direct investment in the ALV is expected to
  be 70 million over the 25 year duration of the
  concession.
• The ALV will eventually incorporate 2 CFSs, 6
  DCs, container yards, container maintenance
  facilities, a wash rack, truck staging area in
  addition to make available and managing dedicated
  plots of lands for development by investors.

Investment Plan

• In addition to the facilities mentioned earlier,
  LSVC will invest in advanced Inventory Management
  Systems and other systems and equipment such as
• Racking in the DCs
• Container handlers
• Material Handling Equipment
• Vehicles

Strategic Importance

• Location the size of land allocated for the ALV
  is 500,000 m2 located adjacent to the Aqaba
  Container Terminal.
• The ALV will take over all container freight
  station operations from the container terminal
  thus exclusively servicing all LCL into Jordan
  from sea.
• The ALV will start servicing clients as early as
  January 2008 whereby the 1st CFS will be
  operational.
• The ALV will add new professional logistics
  services in the ASEZ to service the business
  community in Jordan and the region.
• The ALV will provide multi-model business
  solutions ranging from various services rendered
  by the LSVC such as stuffing, un-stuffing,
  picking, packing and assembly to leasing plots of
  developed land for investor-owned and managed
  facilities.
