• Enameling is an ancient art form, dating back
  more than 2000 years. The Greeks and Romans
  developed the technique from a glaze on the
  surface of clay bricks to fusing colored glazes
  on to metal, enabling enameled jewelry to be
  produced. Enameled jewelry fabrication lends
  itself to creative designs, brilliant surface
  colors, and experimentation with techniques such
  as, cloisonné, graffito, stencils, lumps and
  threads.
