dealing with topical issues in cardiology.
Ischemic heart disease (IHD) is the main problem
under investigation. Laboratory and clinical
researches are carried out here.
The main objectives

• to assess the prevalence of cardiovascular
  diseases and their risk factors to study their
  natural history and related mortality
• to develop new methods of prevention, diagnosis,
  treatment, and rehabilitation of the
  cardiovascular patients and estimate the
  effectiveness of these procedures and
  interventions
• to investigate the mechanisms controlling the
  myocardial ion exchange to discover new
  antiarrhythmic agents to construct automated
  diagnostic systems and hardware for
  cardiologists, and to further develop biophysical
  methods for multilead surface ECG analysis.

• The University has 5 hostels in its structure
• Approximately 1043 students are accommodated in
  the hostels
• One of the hostels is for foreign students. This
  twelve-storey building consists of a lot of
  little flats. Each of them includes two double

  are two kitchens for one floor, where are an
  electric stove, washing-machine and other useful
