• Psychology deals with mind, behavioral attitudes
  and Characteristics of individual.

Philosophy without work is madness and work
without philosophy is superstition

• Mind is defined as an incessant flow of thoughts.
• Mind can be compared with river.

• Fast mind is sick mind
• Slow mind is sound mind
• Still mind is divine mind.

• Personal understanding and emotions of the
  individual come together in the subject of
  psychology.
• Understanding includes individual perceptions and
  concepts.
• Emotions are ventilated through personal likes
  and dislikes, anger, irritability.

• Understanding mind depends on three gunas of
  nature
• Thamasic nature is predominated by inertia,
  laziness which obscures truth and produces
  passivity.
• Rajasic nature is predominated by activity,
  restlessness which distorts the truth
• Sattvic nature harmonizes and produces quietness,
  peace and happiness

• Percentage of mixture of these three qualities
  reflect the plane of understanding and emotions
  of the individual as mixture of various colours
  produce different shades.
• Emotional reactions born out of ignorance are
  never justified.

• Ignorance leads to slavery to desires and fears.
• Desire for pleasure and the fear of pain are
  state of distress.
• Pain is physical but the suffering is mental.
  Several people suffer without pain.
