• God used a woman, a mother in coming into this
  world.
• Consequently, God formed a family. Therefore the
  Lord gave utmost importance to the family and
  motherhood.
• (So where is inequality here?)

Today we are given the image of Mary as mother of
God.

• How was she as a mother?
• She was simple and silent treasured all these
  things in her heart.
• She diligently fulfilled her role as a mother.
  Loving and caring for her family.
• She was there all the time, even in the midst of
  uncertainty and great suffering.

• Finally, Mary is Mary and the Holy Family is the
  Holy Family because of one basic important
  element
• Jesus Christ was in their midst.
