Reasons for Building Green

  down after 34 years
• Vancouver is known as North Americas Greenest
  City
• Eco-construction increased by over 60 last
  year
• BC used more water than it collected last year
• At peak times, BC imports up to 15 of its
  electrical needs
• BC is greening its Building Code at a rapid
  pace
• 36 of all GHG emissions are via building stock
• Recent data indicates certified green homes
  sold for more than 10 above standard
