• INDIA OPAL BULONI found Winn-Dixie in a grocery
  store.She always calls her father preacher. She
  is very courageous. Her mom left when she was
  3.She lives in Florida with her father and
  friends.
• WINN-DIXIE is a dog that has pathological fear of
  thunderstorms and was found in a grocery store
  named Winn-Dixie. That was why he was named
  Winn-Dixie. He is always in a good mood.And
  unlike all other dogs,he pulls his lips back ,
  shows all his teeth and smiles.He can even catch
  a mouse with out crushing it!

• OTIS has gone to jail before. He went to jail on
  account of music. He knocked out one of the
  policemen when they said to stop playing his
  guitar on the street. India met Otis while
  telling him she would work for him if he gave her
  a leash for free.
• MS.FRANNY owns the Herman W.Block Memorial
  Library.It was made a long time ago, and
  Ms.Franny got it for her birthday from her
  father.Her father was very rich. Once a bear
  came into her library. Her friends, who are
  dead or gone, teased her.

• GLORIA DUMP is an old women who Stevie and Dunlap
  think is a witch. But they find out that shes a
  nice old lady! She has a mistake tree which has
  bottles hung on it.And when she finds out
  something amazing, she yells,WHOOOOOEEEE!

Amanda Wilkinson-Always pinch-faced cause her
brother, Carson , drown the year before when he
was 5 years old.
Thomas Sweetie Pie- She wants a dog and always
sucks her knuckles. Her birthday is in
September. She thinks a party always needs a
theme.
Preacher-Indias dad, wife left few years ago.
Stevie and Dunlap Dewberry-Thinks Gloria Dump is
a witch.Their mama shaved their hair because they
got fleas from their cat, Sadie.

CONCLUSION
In this story I didnt like it when Indias mom
didnt come back.But this is a fabulous story.
This is a good book for people who have love for
animals.This book is good for any age.
