MARKSMANSHIP PRINCIPLIES

• Position and Hold
  Youre FIRING POSITION and HOLD must be firm
  enough to support the weapon.
• Pointing Naturally The weapon must be held
  upright and pointed naturally at the target
  without undue physical effort.

• Sight Alignment and aiming must be correct.
• Breathing Control you must control the rhythm of
  your breathing and operate the trigger correctly
• Follow Through The shot will be fired and
  followed through without undue movement
  disturbing your aim.

• Until they become firmly established in your mind
• The application of them demands great
  concentration on your part this combined with
  the determination to be a Marksman will ensure
  success

  different actions to be carefully coordinated at
  the same time
• Not just once, but time after time using the
  exactly the same formula on each occasion
• It is quite difficult for the human to do
• Practice and Patience to develop the skill

• To achieve this CORRECT AIM PICTURE you must
  align the following
• Your EYE
• The CENTRE of the APERTURE BACKSIGHT
• The CENTRAL POINT of the TIP of the FORESIGHT
• Place the sights so aligned on the POINT of aim
  on the target
