Assessment Fees (Page 13)
  • Course fees both Secondary and Elementary

    costs for Practicum courses, 1 copy of the
    Professional education handbook, etc.

C.A.S.E. system (Page 14)
  • Artifacts will be collected from certain courses.
  • Passwords are available in the TESS office 8 a.m.
    to 5 p.m. with a valid Bearcat ID or drivers
    license.
  • All artifacts will need to be properly named.
  • Directions on page 16.

Requirements (Page 18)
  • Check off the courses you have taken and
    completed.
  • ACT score of 20 or 21-higher
  • 7 hrs below a C in gen ed courses Rule
  • Pass the C-BASE.
  • 2.5 GPA rule
  • Minimum of 45 hours completed.

Diversity Hours (Page 39)
  • Must complete at least 30 hours in a diverse
    setting for the entire program.
  • ALL signatures need to be filled out!
  • Extra copies can be found in the TESS office.

  • Review all components of TWS in your handbook.
  • Much of this information is on the student
    teaching website as well.

Background Checks
  • Certain Courses Require Them
  • Sec. Teaching Practicum I and II
  • Middle School Teaching Practicum I and II
  • Observ Act Elem School
  • Tchg Rdg/LA Elem School
  • NOTE These background checks are included in
    the 25 course fee however fingerprinting is not
    included.
