  patient care areas by observing a licensed nurse.

Nurse licensure compact information

• Effective July 1st, 2000
• Apply for license in your primary state of
  residence- where you hold drivers license, vote,
  pay taxes.
• Nurse is responsible for complying with the nsg.
  Practice laws regulations of the state where
  patient located.

Now you are an LPN

• Mandatory Reporter-complete education every 5
  years
• License Renewal- done via computer- notified via
  newsletter
• Supervising in LTC- must work 6 months and take
  LPN supervising course
• IV course- 2080 hrs practice as LPN
