REQUIREMENTS TO PROCESS

• Normally tandem extrusion but can use
  Co-extrusion as well
• Wire coating approx .005 in.
• Need standard nylon screw

TANDEM WIRE COATING

• The PVC and nylon extruders are separated- each
  with its own crosshead.
• A vacuum can utilized to adjust the jacket
  tightness and remove outgasses.
• Both PVC and nylon diameters can be monitored and
  controlled

CO-EXTRUSION COATING

• The PVC and nylon extruders use one common
  crosshead.
• A vacuum can utilized to adjust the jacket
  tightness and remove outgasses.
• Only finished diameter can be monitored and
  controlled
• A glass smooth finish can be attained.
