- When PSLE result is released, all pupils will be
ranked according to their aggregate scores - Example
- 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th

X Sch Y Sch Z - Pupil C (score 220) Sch B Sch D Sch W
Sch X Sch Z Sch Y - Pupil A will be considered first, then Pupil B,
and finally Pupil C - For Pupil A, MOE will try to admit him/her to 1st
choice school, if not possible, then 2nd choice,
if not then 3rd choice and so on - until schools have filled up their vacancies

Reading Aloud To assess the ability to read aloud a given text type with fluency, correct pronunciation, appropriate stress and intonation to suit purpose, audience and text.
Picture Conversation To assess the ability to interpret a picture with the use of appropriate vocabulary structure.

20- Pupils should focus on describing and
interpreting the main event/activity happening in
the picture. - Offering an opinion will be an added advantage.
- 4) IMPORTANT Pupils should not use directional
words like on the top right hand corner, at
the bottom of the picture etc. Instead, use
words like next to the boy, in front of, at
the door etc.

- Promote the love of books to your child
- Take time out to read (storybooks/magazines/poems)
