- Geometric Sequence A sequence in which the
ratio of every pair of successive terms is
constant. This constant ratio is called the
common ratio and is denoted by r.

of the sequence
- How would you find the tenth term (t10) of the
sequence 5, 10, 20, 40, - Find the common ratio r 2
- (look at the number of times the first term is
multiplied by the common ratio r n-1 times) - The 10th term is the product of t1 and the 9th
power of the ratio
