Effects of Smoke on Nonsmokers

• Sidestream smoke - smoke that escapes from the

• Mainstream smoke - smoke that is inhaled through
  a tobacco product and exhaled by a tobacco smoker
• Environmental tobacco smoke (second hand smoke) -
  both of the above
