• The setting is at school and sometimes at home.
  The school is Westchester Country Day.

Characters descriptions.

• Nikki J. Maxwell the main character and new
  student at Westchester Country Day. She has short
  ,straight brown hair and brown eyes. She is
  however extremely bad at math. When she grows up
  she wants to be an artist.
• Mackenzie Hollister The most popular girl at
  Westchester Country Day and is the leader of a
  club dubbed as Cute, cool and popular(ccp).She
  has blonde hair, blue eyes and is wealthy.
  Mackenzie is self-centered carries expensive
  handbags , always wears designer clothes and
  large amounts of lip gloss.
• Chloe Christina Garcia Nikkis best friend. Chloe
  is assumed to be Hispanic, works in the library
  with Nikki and Zoey and is an avid reader,
  particularly young adult romances. As a result,
  she is an expert on "guys and dating," according
  to Nikki. Her parents own a software company. She
  is labeled as being the "Fifth most unpopular
  girl" at Westchester Country Day. She reads
  almost every single teen magazine and romance
  novel there ever is. She has a younger brother
  named Joey.
• Zoeysha "Zoey" Ebony Franklin Nikki's other best
  friend, a "bookworm who likes self-help books".
  Zoey is African American. Zoey also works in the
  school library with Nikki and Chloe. Her mother
  is a lawyer and her father is a record executive,
  although they are divorced. Zoey is labeled as
  the "Seventh most unpopular girl" in the school
  in the book. She is 14 years old in the book.
• Brandon Roberts Nikki and Mackenzie's love
  interest. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He is
  the school's photographer newspaper. He also
  plays the drums. Brandon is shy and sweet towards
  Nikki and her friends.
• Brianna Maxwell Nikkis 6-year-old sister.
  Brianna is afraid of the tooth fairy because
  Nikki told her that the tooth fairy collects
  children's teeth to make dentures. She has an
  friend named Miss Penelope (which was a face she
  drew on her hand). According to Nikki, Brianna is
  "bratty and always gets her way". Brianna is
  obsessed with a movie series called "Princess
  Sugar Plum." Brianna has an angelic face
  according to what Nikki tells you in the book.

Plot (problem or conflict)

• The problem in this book is that Nikki enters a
  new school and she has an enemy who is Mackenzie
  Hollister and Mackenzie does everything possible
  to ruin her life and the thing that Nikki hates
  the most is when she tries to steal Nikkis crush
  Brandon.

Plot (resolution)

• The resolution of that problem is Nikki not
  paying attention to what Mackenzie says and does
  , Nikki said she wont let nobody hurt her
  feelings.

My opinion of the book.

• I think this book is very interesting and
  sometimes funny for the dumb things Nikki does
  every time and is very entertaining. And I
  recommend this book to people especially girls
  that like funny books.

1. She lives in Aldie,VA.
2. She grew up in Saint Joseph, a small city located
   on the shore of Lake Michigan.
3. She has two younger sisters and two younger twin
   brothers.
4. She illustrated and wrote her first book in 6th
   grade as a birthday present for her brothers.

   for older teens and a Chapter book for younger
   children

Summary.

• A 14 year old Nikki Maxwell is not happy
  when her father arranges a scholarship for her to
  attend a private middle school called Westchester
  Country Day as part of the contract for her dads
  bug extermination service.
• Nikki does not fit in with the designer-clad
  students and spends most of her time along
  writing in her diary. To make matters worse, she
  has a locker right next to one of the (CCPs) the
  school's most popular girl, Mackenzie Hollister.
  Mackenzie claims that Nikki as a Dork and goes
  out of her way to make Nikkis life miserable .
  One way of doing it is trying to steal the heart
  of Nikkis crush, Brandon Roberts.
• It appears the new school may work out when
  Nikki becomes friends with two other dorky girls,
  Chloe and Zoe. But things take a turn for the
  worse when Nikki enters the School Art show and
  discovers her main competition is her enemy, who
  will stop at nothing to win .
