Social Groups

• Scientist look at ethnic groups a group of
  people who share a common history, language,
  religion and some physical characteristic.

Language

• Dialect- a local form of a language that differs
  from the same language in other areas.
• Do you know different types of dialect in the US?
  (Pop vs. Coke vs. Soda)

Types of Government

• Democracy-power with the people (USA)
• Dictatorship- dictator makes all laws (Hitler)
• Monarchy- kings or queens born into royalty
  (England)

Where did it go?

• Cultural diffusion the process of spreading new
  knowledge and skills to other countries.
• What have we given to other countries?
• What have others given to us?
