- NMS counselors and principals will visit your
school in the spring - Study your maps
- Tour NMS over the summer
- Ask for help when needed
- RELAX, teachers will be very understanding first
week of school!

- Four Biggest Concerns of 7th graders

- 45 concerned about using lockers
- Majority of kids were able to use lockers by the
3rd day - Biggert concern, yet easiest to conquer!
- Finding way around the school/ getting lost
- 27 concerned about getting lost
- Majority of kids were able to find their way
around after the first day - The school is a big square!
- Keeping up with homework, tests, quizzes, etc.
- 18 were concerned that there would be more work
involved in 7th grade - Majority of kids felt that the work is comparable
