The Four Texas Regions

• Central plains
• Mountains and basins region
• The great plains region
• The Coastal plains region

The Central Plains Region

• In this region there are the Grand Prairie,the
  Cross timbers and the rolling plains
• The Animals that they have in this area are beef
  cattle, dairy cattle, sheep,goats,hogs,chickens,an
  d turkeys
• The Resources are limestone, sand,gravel oil,
  gas, and clay

The Mountains and Basin Region

• It has towering peaks,rocky canyons,and flowering
  cacti
• Here are some of the places that are located in
  the mountains and basin region are Big Bend
  National Park,Guadalupe Mountains

The Great Plains Region

• The Caprock escarpment separates the great plains
  region and the central region
• The Edwards pleteaw lies just south from the high
  plains
• Oil is produced in the Permain basin

• The produce of the great plains region are
  Wheat,Cotton,Sorghum
• Palo Duro canyon, the scocond largest canyon in
  the U.S.A

The Coastal Plains Region

• It is the largest of the seven regions
• The piney woods are located in this area
• In the piney woods there are large forest, it
  has cattle ranching ,fruit growing and vegetables
• Also located in the Caostal plains is the Gulf
  Coast Plains
• In this area there is a fishing industry,oil
  industry
• There are slow moving creeks called bayous
• Most of Texas major rivers empty into the gulf
  here
• The rest of the areas that are in the coastal
  plains are South Texas Plains,and Post Oak Belt
