Greek Mythology

• This presentation is about the mythology of of
  Ancient Greece.
• Greek citizens believed that Titans ruled the
  Earth long ago.
• They thought that the Titans ruler was Coronus.
• Coronuss son was Zeus.

• Zeus over powered his father Coronus and started
  a new group.
• The group was called the Olympians.

• The Olympians were made up of twelve gods.
• They were named after mount Olympus were Zeus
  lived.

• Zeus drew lots with his brothers Poseidon and
  Hades to see what they would rule.
• Zeus became ruler of the world.

• Poseidon became god of the sea, while Hades
  became the god of the under world and wealth.

• Zeuss sister, Hera, was forced to marry him,
  even though she didnt like him at all.
• She planned to trap him with the help of the
  other gods.
• One of the other gods that Zeus knew helped him,
  and Zeus punished all the other gods.
