• Purpose
• to solve the problem of making quick adjustments
  to the footstrecher in the boat while on the
  water, without tools or assistance.
• Constraints
• must fit standard rowing shell brand
• must lock tightly w/ no play after adjusting
• must have and acceptable level of strength /
  stiffness
• must be light weight
