  age of 5 die most from preventable causes such
  as malaria, diarrhea, measles, and pneumonia

• Hunger is linked to nearly one-third of all child

• About 67 million of the worlds children of
  primary school age are not enrolled in school
  UNESCO, 2011
• Some 1 billion children are severely deprived of
  at least one of the essential goods and services
  they require to survive and develop UNICEF,

  the orphan, and the sick
• The Church can respond by
• Promoting Child Sponsorship as a way to answer
  Gods call to serve the poor
• Advocating for and funding programs that
  transform communities and save lives
• Caring for orphans and vulnerable children
• Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and
  faultless is
  this to look after orphans and
