  • How to borrow?
  • Present books Student ID at Circulation Counter

  • Present books at Circulation Counter

  • Hand in books at Circulation Counter, or
  • Use the Book Drop (open 24 hours, located behind
    the Main Entrance)

To Request Books on Loan
  • Request via My Account in Library Website
  • Check status for Pick up in My Account
  • Pickup at Circulation Counter
  • (within 3 days)

Intra-Library Loan
  • Service that allows borrowing across Taylors
    Libraries, via the Library.
  • Request via email or make a request at
    Information Counter (2-3 days).
  • Borrowing privileges
  • Within quota
  • Option May borrow directly from the Library
    where the item is held

Fine Rates Reminders
  • Main Collection Item 50 sen per day per book
  • Reserve Collection Item 20 sen per hour per book
    ( fines run when library is closed)
  • Reminder (Overdue notices)
  • Posted on Taylors Online (Student portal
    Click on My Alert)
  • 3 reminders
  • Names posted on the Library Notice Board

Lost Item
  • Report at the Information Counter as soon as
    possible to avoid accumulation of fines.

Penalties
  • You are not allowed to borrow
  • (suspension)
  • if you have a fine of RM5 or more
  • if you have not paid for a lost item
  • If you have overdue items more than
  • 10 days

  • Audiovisual viewing corner
  • Class room 3.2 to 3.10 are available from
    7pm-11pm (weekdays) and 7am to 11pm (weekends)
