WHY DID WE SELECT THIS APPLICATION?

• High economic importance of the Food and
  Agriculture Industry in La Rioja region.
• Food Safety is one of the high-priority issues in
  the second program of innovating actions of La
  Rioja
• The costs for the companies, the state and the
  affected consumers could be reduced with the use
  of suitable technoligies and processes of
  security controls and the traceability of the
  products.

OBJECTIVES

• To identify lines of action, scopes and treds in
  food safety at international level, as well as
  regional level and to define the lines of
  potential development.
• To define actions for the companies and other
  important agents (technological centres, the
  university)
• This will help companies to decide what steps to
  make in terms of key collaborations,
  incorporation of tecnology and adaptation of
  processes, amongst others.

OBJECTIVES

• To find the critical technologies.
• To make an inventory, catalogue and costs and
  benefits estimate of its implementation.
• To characterize the desirable collaboration with
  other companies of the region and with groups of
  investigation for the potential development of
  the sector

• To Identify the global driving forces, main
  issues role and power of actors against issues.
• To accomplish the Scenarios Workshop.

  plan.
• To disseminate the results of the foresight
  exercise.

SUMMARY
We will work in FOOD SAFETY in order to find
trends, critical technologies and desirable
collaborations to help companies to decide what
steps to make for the development on the sector
and in which areas are investments required.
