New 500DE...Where would this be used

For use on those doors that will generally be
locked all of the time.(stairwell, smoking area)
Access and Exit is accomplished by entering a
code through keypad on panel side, and through
remote keypad, pushbutton, or palm switch on
other side.
System normally locked or if no locks will alarm
if anyone enters or exits without first entering
the code.

High staff traffic doors such as kitchen or
laundry
Monitoring a hallway space instead of a door
Monitoring a second door in a path of egress
already locked by a 135DE or Resident ID door

Any locking door with high visitor traffic where
a wanderer/exit seeker could try to tailgate
Primary exit doors having our mag lock where
non-wandering residents are allowed to freely
move about the facility
Typically any main entrance, and can be either
single or double door that can have our mag locks
