    parallel lines and remember the key words

    it (in terms of verse, chorus etc but also in
    terms of A, B, A etc).
  • You should be able to identify what tonality is
    being used (major, minor, pentatonic, atonal).
  • You should be able to describe the texture of
    music using terms with phonic as the suffix
    (homophonic, polyphonic etc).

General GCSE Revision Tips
  • The best way to show that you know something is
    to explain it to someone else.
  • GCSE timetables should be displayed in the
    kitchen where you and your family can keep track
    and discuss progress.
  • Make sure you drink plenty of water.
  • Exercise, even if its just a stroll outside.
  • Splash out on things to make revision active and
    fun.
