System requirements
  • The aim of the microelectronic system designed
    for this project is to control an four floors
    with 2 cars elevator
  • The policy of elevator controller is
  • 1.Car 1 will be active if it is available
    Car 2 is used if and only if Car 1 is not
    available.
  • 2.The cars keep its direction as long as
    possible

  • Clock Divider provides several different clock
    frequencies out of the outer 25Mhz clock.
  • State Machine Controller is a Mealy finite
    state machine to determine the movement of the
    car.
  • LEDs Driver and Segs Display control LEDs and
    the seven segment LEDs respectively for display

INPUTS
  • Input Four buttons and eight switches
  • Four buttons represent the input button in either
    car1 or car2 decided by one switch
  • Six switches represent the demands of customers
    in different floors
  • The other two switches one indicates the end of
    input, that is to close the door. The other is to
    choose which car has the requirement when two
    cars stop at the same floor

OUTPUTS
  • Output four Segs and two LEDs
  • Two Segs mean the floor of car 1 and car 2
    respectively.
