  • Leadership Training Course

  • Receive Pay for 35 days during summer months

Nurse Summer Training Program
  • Summer between Junior and Senior year
  • After LDAC
  • Three-week, 120 hour clinical rotation in an Army
    Hospital
  • Cadet is one-on-one with an Army Nurse
    preceptor/instructor
  • Cadet receives pay. Army pays for meals and
    transportation expenses

After Graduation
  • Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army
    Nurse Corps
  • Must take and pass NCLEX within 60 days
  • Attend Officer Basic Course
  • First duty assignment
  • based on your input, your school and ROTC record
    and the needs of the Army
  • 95 receive one of top 3 choices

  • After one year of service you may apply to attend
    a clinical specialty course
  • Perioperative Nursing
  • Critical Care Nursing
  • Psychiatric/Mental Health
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Once you obtain career status you may also apply
    for selection to graduate degree programs

Non-Scholarship Students
  • Receives stipend of 300-500 per month
  • Can elect to become Simultaneous Member with the
    Army National Guard or Army Reserve to receive
    additional financial benefits

  • 2, 3, and 4-year scholarships available
  • Tuition or room and board up to 19,000 per
    year
  • Books 900 per year
  • Mandatory Fees

Criteria For Scholarship
  • US Citizen
  • Enroll in an accredited BSN program
  • Minimum GPA 2.8
  • Minimum SAT 1050/ ACT 21
  • Physically fit and medically qualified
  • Under 31 years of age on 30 June of graduation
    year
  • Good moral character
