  of traditional surgery.
• An alternative for laparoscopic surgery (Minimal
  invasive).
• Smaller incisions and instruments.

Safety

• Surgeon is seated implies less fatigue.
• Performs self-safety checks.
• Fail-safe shuts down safely.
• Medical professional in surgical suite.

Setbacks

• Less degrees of motion with robotic arms.
• Cost still uses surgeon but robotic system costs
  more for hospital. Surgeries usually the same
  cost.
• Risks with some surgeries and treatments are not
  eliminated.
• Not cost effective.
• Improved patient outcome claim not fully proved.
