People Involved

• The people involved are the Africans and the
  Arabs of Sudan. The Africans are the ones that
  are being attacked and bombarded by the Arabs.

• The conflict in Darfur started to heat up in 2004
  and is still on going today.

The Beginning

• Africans are occupying the land that the Arabs
  wanted
• Government helped Arabs and gave them weapons and
  ammunition so they could kill the Africans to get
  their land for farms

The Genocide Conditions

• The government fueled racial violence.
• Government sponsored actions inflamedethnic
  conflict, impeding international humanitarian
  access, resulting in deadly conditions of life
  for displaced civilians, bombing civilian targets
  with aircraft, murdering and raping civilians.

A Different Genocide

• Ways it could have been prevented
• The government could have
• not taken the side of the Arabs.
• Could have treated both
• the Africans and Arabs fairly
• and equally.

What Happened

• The Arabs are now after the Africans land so
  that they can have a place to grow crops and tend
  to their livestock.
• The death toll exceeds 400,000 lives and
  counting.
• The Arabs were given weapons by the government
  and other surrounding countries
