RN to BSN Korean Nurse Program
  • Registered nurses educated in Korea have

Admissions Requirements
  • Have earned a diploma from an accredited Korean
    nursing school and show evidence of academic
    proficiency.
  • Have professional nursing experienced, preferably
    in a hospital setting.
  • Have taken and passed the National Council
    Licensing Exam (NCLEX).
  • Show evidence of intermediate-level English
    skills.

English Proficiency Requirement
  • Key to successful completion of nursing program
    and professional nursing practice.
  • New JCAHO Guidelines may require TOEFL
  • Must have a TOEFL Score of 550 or higher by the
    end of Term I of program.
  • Student is responsible for developing their
    English skills.

  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT) enhances the
    application of nursing theory within the U.S.
    healthcare context.
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT) provides the
    student opportunity to work at one of Easterns
    health partner sites at the end of the program
  • All faculty and medical personnel in this
    program are committed to helping students
    prepare for and adjust to the U.S. healthcare
    environment.
