  • Introduced in 2001
  • Took less than one year to create
  • Apple decided to create the iPod due to a lack of
    a well-established mainstream mp3 player market
  • iPod was originally the name for internet
    kiosks that was never used by Apple
  • Steve Jobs introduced the iPod as 1,000 songs in
    your pocket

  • Simple Layout
  • Convenient Size
  • Click-wheel is space efficient and easy to use
  • Dock connector used to connect iPod to a
    Firewire, USB, Adapter or Speakers.
  • Display can be categorized by Song, Album or
    Artist.
  • Options include EQ settings, which controls the
    tone of your music.
