    education, elimination of wastage at primary and
    secondary levels and enhancing the internal rate
    of efficiency.
  • The education system has not kept pace with the
    developmental needs of the country
  • The quality of the countrys labour force has
    fallen short of that needed to support the
    economy to become a high-technology,
    skill-intensive one and to survive in an
    increasingly competitive international
    environment.
