Chiral and Prochiral Singlet Radical Pairs as
Probes of Reaction Cages in Polymer Films

The photochemistry and photophysics of guest
molecules in cages afforded by polymeric films
can yield important information about local chain
mobility and organization. Our studies in films
of poly(alkyl methacrylate)s above and below
their glass transition temperatures are intended
to afford detailed structural pictures of how the
guest molecules interact with their local
environments under different physical conditions.
