Black Tea of KettleTown

  • The black tea range are a signature blends
created for its balance and flavour.
  • For lovers of tea with milk, try our Zanzibari
Chai or Golden Indulgence. Iced tea lovers will
enjoy Mintilla and New Paradise. Those who love a
subtle flavoured tea will not be disappointed
    with Blueberry Blossoms.

Blueberry Blossoms
  • 12.00
  • A light, fruity, floral infusion of flavour with
citrus and subtle nutty overtones. This perfectly
balanced bouquet of flavours creates a natural
    and lingering blueberry scent.
  • Blueberry Blossoms blend comprises of black tea,
    calendula, cornflower and flavouring.

4
  • We suggest you boil water to 90-100 degrees and
steep the tea for 3 - 4 minutes. A perfect steep
should give you a subtle blueberry aroma, notes
of almond, and a slight sweetness from the
calendula and cornflower. Best served black, milk
    is unnecessary.
  • Serve in the afternoon, or evening to cleanse the
palate. Alternatively, choose to indulge and pair
the tea with a lemon or raspberry tart.

Golden Indulgence
  • 12.00
  • Golden Indulgence Chocolate Black Tea
  • Nutty, almond-infused organic Ceylon tea with a
cocoa finish. A distinct almond taste on first
sip, followed a rich and full-bodied chocolate
flavour. Our golden indulgence blend comprises of
black tea, cacao nibs, chocolate pieces, and
    flavouring.
  • We suggest you boil water to 90 - 100 degrees.

7
  • If you are using a standard kettle without
temperature control, wait until the water boils
fully. Steep the black tea blend for 3-5 minutes,
    or to personal taste.
  • Golden indulgence has a very bold flavour because
of the cacao nibs, so you will notice the tea
getting fairly dark within a few seconds of
steeping. You will also notice a pleasant
    chocolate aroma.

8
  • The tea serves as an alternative to hot chocolate
and is best enjoyed black. Add a dash of milk and
sugar to taste if it is your preference. Pair
with a caramel tart for a flavour extravaganza.

Mintilla
  • 12.00
  • Mintilla Black and Peppermint Tea
  • A velvety and graceful tea with vanilla
overtones. Mintilla offers a more rounded taste
to traditional Peppermint teas, which can often
be quite sharp on the palate.
  • Perfect as a night time digestive or served with
your favourite spirit as a party pleaser.

11
  • Our blend comprises of Peppermint tea, and black
    tea leaves infused with vanilla.
  • We suggest you boil water to 80-90 degrees to
ensure it will not burn the delicate peppermint
tea leaves. Steep for 3-5 minutes or according to
individual preference. A perfect steep will
result in a creamy, minty taste with hints of
    vanilla and chocolate.
  • Mintilla can be served as a black tea or with
milk. We recommend pairing it with a Panna Cotta
    or Cheesecake.

Zanzibari Chai
  • 12.00
  • An authentic Zanzibari chai tea, with exotic
origins reminiscent of a palm beach paradise
getaway. A chai tea with a flawless combination
of pepper and ginger with a clean coconut finish.
    Perfect anytime of the day.
  • We suggest you boil water to 100 degrees and
steep for 2-3 minutes. Be careful not over steep
the Zanzibari Chai tea as we use a very bold
black tea base which infused fairly fast.

14
  • Best served with milk. Enjoy Zanzibari Chai tea
black for a spicy and refreshing experience.
  • Traditionally paired to Maandazi (African bread)
but can also be enjoyed with most sponge cakes
    such as Lamingtons.
