consumption reached an estimated 726,300t, lead
metal consumption was 493,000t and zinc metal
consumption was 603,900t.  Exports accounted
for a total of 25,053t for copper ores and
concentrates and 121,522t for zinc ores and
concentrates in the same year.  Rajasthan is
home to several copper deposits in its Khetri
Copper Belt, located in Aravalli Range. The major
deposits are Khetri, Kolihan, Banwas, Chandmari,
Dholamala, Akwali and Murdapur-Pacheri. 
Rajasthan covers the major share for base metals
such as lead deposits located in the Aravalli
metallogenic.
